FMS Affiliate Members Benifits

Affiliate members enjoy comprehensive benefits designed to help you stay on-game professionally, while giving you lots of opportunities for access to the audience you’re seeking – professionals with purchasing power who work in community financial institutions.

Because the Financial Managers Society (FMS) is the only individual membership society devoted exclusively to finance, accounting and auditing professionals from banks, thrifts and credit unions, staying engaged as an FMS member both expands your network of prospective customers across the lines of all financial institution types, and helps reinforce your relationships with current clients.

FMS offers a whole lot of value to its members who are product and service providers. Invest in your development and your company’s growth by joining our ranks today. You will thank us later.

Be Heard.
Speak - Apply to present a session at the annual Finance & Accounting Forum for Financial Institutions. The Forum is one of the most efficient vehicles for targeting decision makers from financial institutions. Plus, each year FMS offers a powerhouse line-up of educational programs, both in-person and live online. While it’s a lot of work to create a substantive program that meets the high standards set by FMS, the integrity and know-how you project will earn you a lot of credibility with those attending the program and their peers, because it’s a small world, you know. View speaking opportunities.

Write - Expand your reach by writing informational or analytical articles on topics that FMS members need and want to learn about. Whether an article for the biweekly FMS Update or a widely distributed and highly sought out white paper, your name in the byline of these resources will be seen again and again. View writing opportunities.

Advise - Keep your name in front of current and prospective clients in three ways:

  • With a listing in the FMS Membership Directory.
  • By participating in the Peer Consulting program, which provides an opportunity to be listed by and called upon by members regarding your areas of expertise.
  • By actively participating in Discussion Board threads. The Discussion Board is a forum in which members ask questions, exchange information, make contacts and offer advice, allowing you to dialog with other members wherever and whenever you can. View a sample discussion board discussion.

Lead - Join one of four FMS Advisory Councils. Councils identify emerging trends and issues in the financial services industry, and focuses work to ensure that FMS continually offers members the most useful resources and educational programs.

Be Knowledgeable.
