Barry Adcock

Financial Performance Strategist, Deluxe

Barry helps community financial institutions (FIs) identify and act upon opportunities to optimize their performance by building and empowering a performance banking culture that transforms all levels of FIs.

Barry draws upon a deep understanding of financial institutions’ operations gained through almost 25 years of experience in controller and CFO roles at The Banker’s Bank, Georgian Bank and NorthSide Bank. As CFO of NorthSide Bank, Barry helped transform the culture of the bank, enabling quicker, smarter decisions that saved the bank from failure during the great recession.

Barry holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from Kennesaw State University and earned his CPA license from the State of Georgia.


Mark Swanson
Performance Banking Strategist, Deluxe

As Deluxe's newest performance banking strategist, Mark Swanson has a passion for helping community FIs reach their full potential that is rooted in personal experience.

Mark began his career as a Management Associate with First Atlanta Bank in 1988, and later served alongside Barry as Senior Lender and Acting President and CEO of Northside Bank. While at Northside, Mark helped guide the young bank from near-failure to success during the Great Recession, an accomplishment he attributes to the transformative power of an agile, performance-based culture (and more than a little prayer).

Mark earned his bachelor’s degree in Internal Audit from Berry College, and completed the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. He lives with his wife outside Atlanta, and their son is a junior at a nearby university. In his free time Mark enjoys exploring the outdoors, and hopes to someday buy a camper and travel to all the National and State Parks our country has to offer.
